Fort Run Road is a local two-lane road that is in poor condition primarily due to poor subgrade material as evidenced by rutting and other areas of pushing. A recommended rehabilitation of the road is to mill the pavement structure, place the milled material, shape and compact it. Then apply asphalt seal coat and asphalt surface treatment. This is a method to increase the strength of the pavement and also reshape the cross-section of the road. This method of rehabilitation is being proposed for the approximately1.2mile of roadway. This method of rehabilitation should last many years with regular maintenance performed. Fort Run Road connects State Route 66 to homes and businesses and is heavily used by local traffic.
