Manor Township has applied for a Grant through DCED- LSA Statewide in the amount of $295,379.00 for the rehabilitation of Scout Run Road, the road is a local two-lane road that is in poor condition primarily due to poor subgrade material as evidenced by rutting and other areas of pushing. A recommended rehabilitation of the road is Full-Depth Reclamation (FDR). FDR is a method to increase the strength of the subgrade and reshape the cross-section of the road. A tar and chip surface treatment is being proposed for the approximately one mile of roadway. This method of rehabilitation should last many years with regular maintenance performed. Scout Run Road connects State Route 66 to homes and a Boy Scout camp.
